The cosmic shift is here. The heavens have cracked and all realities have combined. Everything is different than it used to be. The highest Gods have fallen gently to the earthly plane, and the most vile demons have received a promotion from the underworld. Drunk from mead from the halls of Asgard, a horde of immortal deities and monsters on the way to Mardi Gras in New Orleans have come to New York to spread divine love and fury same.
Mardi Gras is a special holiday for Thunder Gumbo. We are in awe of the power of carnival cultures the world over, from Brazil to New Orleans to Black Rock City. We love the mixing of high and low cultures, the phenomenon of friends coming together to make art happen, the escape of art from galleries in to streets, the endless costumes on young and old and dogs and babies, the experience of culture that you can feel.
