The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players, the world's foremost indie-vaudeville conceptual art-rock pop traveling family slideshow band, are continuing to move the medium of entertainment forward, returning to the stage for their first show of 2011, in anticipation of their forthcoming album "Lost and Found" (Tummy Touch Records) and featuring Jason Trachtenburg's The Pendulum Swings horn section.
Since the year 2000, the Trachtenburg's have been perfecting the art of turning found vintage slide collections into original pop-rock musical and visual exposes based on the lives and societal examinations of anonymous strangers, and some well known corporations. This new art form can be multiply categorized into the realms of rock music, comedy, theatre, cabaret, vaudeville and performance art.The Trachtenburgs have toured the world with new annual versions of their rock slideshow presentations. Their uniqueness has allowed for performances at university classes, corporate conventions, the lecture circuit and weddings.
